Last week you got the dessert.  This week the vegetables.

Last week in the first post of my series on the pros and cons of different housing strategies I talked about the benefits of buying new construction.  This week we talk about some of the down sides.  Here’s a great article about some of those.  It’s worth noting that certainly not all of these are universal (like small lots or lack of community character).  And it’s also important to remember that all paths on your housing choices represent trade offs between positives and negatives.  For instance it might surely be just fine that the price per square foot is higher for new construction if it get’s you the chance to fully customize your home.  Call me if you have any questions about the new home buying process.
